Google Chrome
Google
Chrome is a freeware web browser developed by Google. As of December
2015, StatCounter estimates that Google Chrome has a 58 percent
worldwide usage share of web browsers as a desktop browser. It is also
the most popular browser for smartphones, and combined across all
platforms at about 45 percent. Its success has led to Google expanding
the 'Chrome' brand name on various other products such as the
Chromecast.
Google
releases the majority of Chrome's source code as an open-source project
Chromium. A notable component that is not open source is their version
of the built-in Adobe Flash Player, called Pepper Flash Player.
Torch
Torch
is a Chromium-based web browser and Internet suite developed by Torch
Media. The browser handles common Internet-related tasks such as
displaying websites, sharing websites via social networks, downloading
torrents, accelerating downloads and grabbing online media, all directly
from the browser.
On
June 18, 2013, Torch announced a major release for Mac and Windows that
included an integrated download accelerator. The same release also
introduced Torch Music, a free social music discovery service that
organizes music videos available on YouTube in a user-friendly
interface.
Microsoft Edge
Microsoft
Edge is a web browser developed by Microsoft and included in the
company's Windows 10 operating systems, replacing Internet Explorer 11
as the default web browser for both the PC and Windows 10 Mobile.
Microsoft
stated that it is designed to be a lightweight web browser with a
layout engine built around web standards. It does not support ActiveX
and Browser Helper Objects but adds new features such as integration
with Cortana, annotation tools and a reading mode.

Dolphin
Browser is a proprietary mobile browser for the operating systems
Android and iOS. It was one of the first alternative browsers for the
Android platform that introduced support for multi-touch gestures.

abilities, which allows for a small disk footprint. It can run Adobe
Flash on Android
Mozilla Firefox
Mozilla
Firefox is a free and open-source web browser developed by the Mozilla
Foundation and its subsidiary, the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox is
available for Windows, OS X and Linux operating systems, with its mobile
versions available for Android, and Firefox OS.

was released in November 2004, and was highly successful with 60
million downloads within nine months, which was the first time that
Internet Explorer's dominance was challenged. According to Mozilla, as
of December 2014 there were half a billion Firefox users around the
world.
Opera
Opera
is a web browser developed by Opera Software. The latest version is
available for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux operating systems, and
uses the Blink layout engine.
Opera
includes built-in tabbed browsing, a bookmarks bar, add-ons, and a
download manager. Opera has "Speed Dial", which allows the user to more
easily navigate to the selected web pages.
